The main characteristics of a washing machine are the revolutions per minute (r.p.m.) and the washing capacity. You must take into account that the more r.p.m. the machine has, the less wet the clothes will be after washing. On the other hand, larger capacity washing machines are ideal for families with many members, as long as they are used at their maximum capacity so as not to waste more energy than necessary.

For the most humid areas, and in case you have space, a dryer will make your work at home much easier. Most tumble dryers now operate on a condensation system. And if there is no space available, washing machines are all-in-one machines: washing + drying, bearing in mind that the drying capacity will always be lower than the washing capacity.
